5to7 Math Studio
5to7 Math Studio specialises in Math, AMath, and POA tuition in Tampines. Mr. Dennis brings over 17 years of teaching experience, both in schools and tuition centres, since his graduation with an honours degree in 2011.
Our small class sizes (max 3 students), ensure that everyone receives support. To further enhance learning, all our tuition materials are thoughtfully crafted in-house by 5to7 Math Studio. We take pride in creating original content and do not rely on photocopied materials. These resources are a testament to our dedication and are exclusively designed for our enrolled students. As such, they are not available for sale and are accessible only to those participating in our programmes.
Additionally, students can take advantage of Mr. Dennis's extensive library of 65 high-quality AMath tutorial videos, freely available on YouTube. These videos serve as a valuable supplementary resource, further supporting their academic growth and success. At 5to7 Math Studio, we are passionate about empowering students with the tools and guidance they need to excel.
Terms of Service
1. Trial Lesson
The 2-hour trial lesson is available for $75. Payment must be made in advance and received prior to the start of the lesson.
2. Tuition Lessons
Students are encouraged to arrive on time. Lessons may be extended by up to 5 minutes to ensure the final question is completed.
3. Replacement Lessons
Parents are required to pay for all scheduled lessons on a monthly basis. Any missed lessons must be replaced within the same month. Replacement lessons are available only on weekdays from 3:00 PM to 4:40 PM and 7:15 PM to 8:55 PM. The duration of each replacement lesson is 1 hour 40 minutes and is conducted on a 1-on-1 basis. Please note that frequent requests for replacement lessons may result in the termination of tuition in the following month, due to the additional time, effort, and opportunity cost involved.
4. Tuition Schedule
No lessons will be held on public holidays.
5. Tuition Fees
Tuition fees will remain fixed from the time of enrolment until the completion of the O-Levels/SEC, as long as there is uninterrupted tuition from the start of enrolment.
6. Payment Terms
Parents will receive a monthly invoice outlining the fees and any applicable discounts. Payment is due before the start of lessons. Failure to make timely payment will result in the termination of all tuition services.
7. Referral Discount
A $10 discount will be applied to the following month’s tuition fees on a monthly basis for both the referrer and the referee, for as long as the new student remains enrolled.
8. Discount for Additional Subject Enrolment
A $10 discount will be applied to the following month’s tuition fees for every additional subject enrolled.
9. Academic Year
No lessons will be held on public holidays. The Academic Year 2025 will end on October 26, with no lessons in November. The Academic Year 2026 will begin on December 1.
10. Live Class Monitoring will be conducted via Microsoft Teams
Parents, please download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. A meeting link will be shared in the group chat 5 minutes before the session begins. When joining, parents should select “Guest”—no registration is required. Please keep your camera and microphone off, as this is for observation purposes only. Only the studio device will have its camera and microphone enabled.
To ensure safe student departures, three outdoor CCTVs will monitor exits after the lesson.
To help maintain the studio’s flow and prepare for the next session, students should wait for the Microsoft Teams meeting link in the group chat before ringing the doorbell. You may wait on the bench outside or on level 1 while the studio is being cleaned. Lessons typically start on time or up to 5 minutes earlier.
